In May 2011, I moved from the Gulf Coast to the mountains to tell East Tennessee's stories for WBIR-TV.
Before coming to Channel 10, I spent two years as a reporter for WMBB News 13 in Panama City, Florida. There I covered severe weather, politics, crime, court and the largest environmental disaster to hit the Gulf Coast, the BP Oil Spill.
I started my career as an editor at WVUA-TV while studying journalism at the University of Alabama. (Roll Tide!) Before graduation, I worked my way up to a reporter and anchor. I won awards from the Associated Press and the Alabama Association of Broadcasters for my work there.
When I'm not working, I am hanging out with my family and friends, traveling, and watching football.
