Dale Brukiewa in Maryville has been decorating his house there for 13 years and adds new lights to the display every year.

This year he has about 30,000 lights on his home on Ridgecrest Drive. The display includes 24 deer, five snowmen and three angels. The Christmas display also shows support for the miliary with an American Flag and God Bless Our Troops sign.

Brukiewa said he enjoys putting up the lights to make people smile. "I love to see the childrens' faces light up and I love to see the older peoples' faces light up. You'd be surprised people in their 70's and 80's remember things like this from their youth," said Brukiewa.

Santa will be at Brukiewa's home starting on Wednesday through Friday to hand out candy canes to kids who come to visit from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Friday, Mrs. Claus will also make a special appearance.
