Construction is in full swing on a new addition to the Wilderness of the Smokies Resort in Sevierville.

The resort is building a 25,000 square foot "dry park" called Adventure Forest.

Inside the space will be laser tag, a ropes course, mini-golf and a bowling alley.

The new attractions should open in about two months and offer more options for families staying at the resort.

Rick Laney, spokesman for the resort, said, "Construction has been unbelievably fast. When we announced late last year that we were doing this, I was very apprehensive about a March opening, but now that I am over here and seeing it, we will be open in March.

The resort plans to expand even further after the new "Adventure Forest" is compete. Those full details will be announced in the coming months.
