The News Sentinel Auto Show takes over the Knoxville Convention Center in Downtown Knoxville. More than 25 auto manufacturers will be on hand to showcase the latest and greatest to come off of the production line. Wise Old River will perform on the WDVX Blue Plate Special. The free radio broadcast takes place at noon inside the Knoxville Visitor Center.
Alive After Five continues at the Knoxville Museum of Art. It's the Chad Volkers "Solar Maximum" CD Release Party and Pat Metheny Tribute. Jazz guitarist, Chad Volkers, is a member of several area bands, including The Streamliners, The Jazz Continuum, and Frog & Toad. Admission is $8, and doors open at 6:00 p.m.
The Knoxville Ice Bears play host to the Fayetteville FireAntz at the Civic Coliseum. The Ice Bears have teamed up with Komen for the Cure for a specialty jersey night to raise money and awareness. The post-game jersey auction (20% to Komen), special pink pucks at the merchandise stand (20% going to Komen) and pink pompoms will be for sale (100% going to Komen). Puck drops at 7:30.
Side Splitters Comedy Club welcomes Dom Irrera to the stage. "Fuhgeddaboudit!" Dom, a two-time CableACE Award winner, will perform at both 7:45 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Tickets are $19 at the door.

Ijams Nature Center is hosting their annual Seed Swap. In addition to sharing seeds, participants often share tips, tricks and hints to improve gardening success. Bring your excess seeds to share and trade. It all happens from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in beautiful South Knoxville.
The Oak Ridge "From Rock to Bach" Music Festival will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Pollard Auditorium on the campus of Oak Ridge Associated Universities. The festival is presented by the Oak Ridge Civic Music Association as a benefit for ORCMA music organizations, such as the Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and the Chamber Music Series. More than 20 groups will perform rock, pop, bluegrass, folk, jazz, gospel, Dixieland, Big Band, klezmer and classical music. Dan Allcott, the music director of ORCMA and conductor of ORSO, will team up with a guitarist from Cookeville to perform music by composers ranging from Bach to the Beatles. The Knoxville Amateur Hockey Association presents Hockey Night in Knoxville. Cool Sports, home of the Icearium, will host a night of fast-paced hockey games, with KAHA players ranging from ages four to fourteen. The goal of the event is to drive awareness of the KAHA programs, encourage membership, recognize the player's achievements, and celebrate passion for the sport of ice-hockey. Laval will perform selections from his newly released album Murmurs and Drones in a fun-filled musical evening tracing the immigration of the Scots-Irish to Appalachia. Clayton Center for the Arts presents Cozy Winter Nights with Jonathan Maness. As the son of a bluegrass banjo player and a classical pianist, Jonathan was impressed with a desire to be proficient in many different kinds of music. The Knoxville Museum of Art is showcasing their newest exhibit "Liquid Light: Watercolors from the KMA Collection". This exhibition showcases recently acquired watercolors by East Tennessee artists. Admission to the KMA is free. Sundays hours of operation run from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Chamber Classics present Bach and Vivaldi at 2:30 p.m. A free shuttle will run continuously starting at 1:30 p.m, and will also continuously shuttle patrons back to the State Street Parking Garage after the concert is over for about an hour. The Jeff Dunham 'Controlled Chaos' Tour comes to the Civic Coliseum. Tickets are $45.50 and may be purchased online or at any Tickets Unlimited location. Show time is set for 5:00 p.m. This show may not be suitable for all ages.
