A Blount County community is cleaning up Friday, after last night's rain and storms.

"The whole bed just started moving and the pictures on the walls, the ceiling fan was swinging back and fourth. I thought it was going to come down for sure."

Bernice Bowles and her daughter were inside her Walland home when a storm toppled a large tree, destroying her shed and hitting a corner of the home.

Both say the experience was frightening, but they were not injured.

Bowles' kitchen, however, ss severely damaged.

"Completely desroyed the kitchen, the cabinets are coming off the walls, the fans hanging, just everything," said Bowles.

The storm also blew off part of a neighbor's roof into a tree.
A little down the road, another large tree snapped in half.
