Valentine's Day is a big holiday that means big business for just about every florist in the country. But instead of spreading love today with some 500 orders, the owners of one local shop need some love and support of their own.

Beck's Florist was destroyed in a blaze Monday night, hours before Valentine's orders were set to leave the store. The store, owned by Wendell Beck, has been in business in Madisonville for 25 years.

Along with flowers, all of the records and cash in the store were destroyed.

"We ain't got no place to work," said Beck. "No flowers, the orders that's been in, we can't fill them because they burned up."

Their cat was also missing in the fire.

"She was our baby," said Beck's wife, Linda.

She says even though they have insurance, they may not overcome the blow.

"I don't think we'll rebuild," she said. "No, we're getting too old and too unhealthy to rebuild."

The Becks say they will try to refund money to customers that had paid for their Valentine's orders. They lost $150,000 worth of flowers in the fire.

Madisonville Police are calling the fire an accident.
