Country radio station WIVK has won yet another award, and this time it was for community service.
Country Radio Broadcasters presented the humanitarian award last week in Nashville. It's the eighth time the station has won the award.
WIVK raised over $12 million last year to give back to the community.
Program Director Mike Hammond thinks it speaks volumes to the dedication of their listeners.
"The competition is pretty stiff, so for us to have won it here in Knoxville says a lot about our listeners and it says a lot about the dedication of our team to the community."
