Charges have been filed against Sarah Raleigh, the mother of Ada Mae Raleigh, police say.
Ada Mae was located in the care of extended family members in Newport Monday evening following an intense search beginning Monday around 1:00 p.m.
Officials say Sarah had given Ada Mae to relatives voluntarily before filing a false police report.
Ada Mae is currently in the custody of the Department of Children's Services while her mother is in police custody.
About an hour after issuing an AMBER Alert for a missing three-month-old child, the Sevier County Sheriff's Office said the girl had been found safe.
Ada Mae Raleigh was safely located in Cocke County, according to a dispatcher with the sheriff's office. The dispatcher said he was unable to release any more information.
The girl was reported missing just after 1:00 p.m. Monday, according to the dispatcher. The AMBER Alert was issued just before 6:30, and cancelled around 7:15.

Officials say Ada Mae Raleigh was taken from her home by a white female who was approximately 5'7" to 5'9" with waist-length blonde hair. The woman was wearing dress clothes and black knee-high boots.
She was accompanied by an older male who has gray hair and was wearing khaki colored dress pants and a dress shirt.
According to TBI, the pair said they were employees of the state and that they were removing the child by court order.
The suspects were driving a sandy colored or beige, possibly gold, Ford Explorer.
Ada has blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 20" tall and weighs eight pounds.
