Roosters Men's Grooming Center, an old-fashioned barbershop, had its official grand opening in Turkey Creek Friday.
The new store has six semi-private barber stations with room to expand as the shop grows.
With hardwood and leather chairs, this barber shop hopes to offer men and boys a nostalgic experience.
"Step back in time, where you can get a shave and a haircut, and talk sports, watch sports on TV, and really relax like a man should," said Clarence Hrabinsky, the store's franchisee.
Hrabinsky says he and his family recently relocated to East Tennessee, fell in love with the area, and decided to open a Roosters.
The first Roosters opened in Michigan in 1999.
The Knox County store will be open Monday through Saturday.
