ASHEVILLE - President Barack Obama's love of the
city seems to have spilled over into a national advertisement attacking
Mitt Romney for supporting "big oil."
The clip features a shot of Broadway at the intersection of Walnut. The ad isn't airing in North Carolina.
Obama said during his last visit that the city was one of his favorite places.
"I
love Asheville. In fact, I think I should be on the tourism promotion
board of Asheville," he said. "Every time I meet somebody I say, 'Have
you guys gone down to Asheville? That's a nice place to be.'"
