As part of the Dogwood Arts Festival, you can tour six of Knoxville's historic homes next weekend.
On Saturday, April 14th, for $20 you can take a guided bus tour around Knoxville. You will stop at six homes, plus see significant sites in Knoxville's history along the way.
The stops include: Mabry-Hazen House, Marble Springs Farmstead, James White's Fort, Ramsey House Plantation, Crescent Bend, and the Blount Mansion.
"We all represent different time periods," said Mabry-Hazen House Executive Director, Calvin Chappelle, 'Some are closer than others. If people are interested in the Civil War they may go to Crescent Bend or the Mabry-Hazen House. If they are really interested in the early history of Knoxville then James White's Fort, Blount Mansion, Marble Springs. So, we can cater to people's individual interests."
