After Easter services, some people had to fill their bellies with Easter Brunch, Sunday.
A chef at Copper Cellar off Kingston Pike in West Knoxville said they had somewhere between 500 and 600 reservations.
The chef says the restaurant expanded it's Easter Brunch. It now has a waffle buffet, fruit, salad, breakfast and lunch items, plus dessert.
To prepare for the rush, workers had to get up pretty early.
"We start pretty early for this," said executive chef, Frank Aloise. "We get ready a couple days in advance. We start prepping. Most of the finished items are done this morning. We all got in here at about 6:00 in the morning and we just go."
Workers say they expected to have a full house until 2:00 Sunday afternoon.
