Blount Mansion is the only National Historic Landmark in Knoxville and the home of the only territorial governor of the Southwest Territory, William Blount. Blount signed the U.S. Constitution as a North Carolina delegate before making Knoxville his home in his new role as Governor and a major force behind the Tennessee Constitution. So bring your kids to see a piece of Knoxville's history! Tours of the Mansion are given Tuesday through Saturday at the top of every hour starting at 10 a.m., and the last tour starts at 4 p.m.
