Located near
the entrance to Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail just outside
Gatlinburg, the self-guided nature trail at the Noah "Bud" Ogle
homestead is a perfect walk for young children. This .75-mile loop trail
is ideal for exploring while also allowing your children to learn a bit
of mountain history. The trail is mostly flat and an easy walk for
children. At about the halfway point of the trial you will find a small
tub mill once owned and run by the Ogle family. This is a great place to
let the children get their feet wet in a mountain stream! The trail can
easily be walked in under and hour. Brochures about the trail are
provided in the parking lot for only 50 cents.
