Do your kids
want an aquarium but you don't want to get stuck with cleaning duty?
Here's a fun, much easier alternative! The gelatin fish bowl... the best
part is, you can eat it!
Ingredients: 1 two-liter bottle lemon-lime soda (flat/leave cap off overnight), 4 1/4-ouce packages blue gelatin, gummy fish
First, place 1 cup soda in a large bowl, sprinkle gelatin over soda, let
stand for 5 minutes. Next, place 2 cups soda in a saucepan over medium
heat. Heat just before boil. Add the contents of the first bowl,
stirring for about 2 minutes to dissolve the gelatin completely over the
heat. Remove from heat, add remaining soda, and stir. Pour liquid into a
fish bowl. Chill in the refrigerator overnight. Before serving, make
vertical slits in the gelatin and insert the fish. Keep refrigerated
until serving and enjoy!
