The TBI tells 10News 1-year-old Ayden Fowlkes has been located and is safe.  Authorities Jonathan Fowlkes, who they suspect took Ayden from his home in Tipton County, in custody.  No other details are being released at this time.

Authorities are looking for 1-year-old Ayden Fowlkes who they say was taken from his family in Tipton County by his father, Jonathan Fowlkes who may be in a 1995 Jeep Cherokee.

The TBI says 27-year-old Jonathan Fowlkes broke into a home, assaulted members of Ayden's mother's family, and beat her boyfriend's truck with a baseball bat before taking the toddler around 12:30 a.m. Friday.  Authorities believe Jonathan Fowlkes may be under the influence of crack.

Ayden may have head injuries he sustained while his father took him.

Ayden is has blonde hair, blue eyes, is 2" tall, and weighs 32lbs.  He was last wearing a yellow shirt and a diaper.

Jonathan Fowlkes is 27-year-old white male with hazel eyes and brown hair. He is 6'0" tall and weighs 160lbs.

They may be driving to Mississippi or Jackson, TN in a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Mississippi license plate MJX303.
