Knox County deputies on Monday evening were notifying relatives of three women who were shot to death at an apartment in Powell.

Officials say Paul Moore, Jr., 51, is being charged with shooting and killing his wife, her twin sister, and another woman.

The shooting happened in the couple's apartment at 7310 Old Clinton Pike, off Clinton Highway.

The victims have been identified as the suspect's wife, 39-year-old Christina Moore, her twin sister Bridgett Stagnolia, and 24-year-old Amber Sellings

Moore is being held on a $1.5 million bond.  Arrest warrants said, "Upon questioning, defendant admitted to shooting victim [Christina] Moore and claimed not to remember shooting the others."

Moore was taken into custody at his brother's house Monday afternoon after his brother called 911 to report the incident, police say.

They say the suspect's pistol was found in a wooded area near his brother's house.

Officials say the motive appears to be domestic related.

Neighbors said the people in that apartment "kept with themselves."

"My husband went down to the mailbox and he said I see something's happened," said neighbor Betty Edsell.

"I knew something had been shot and when I saw it was the first apartment. I knew it," Danny Healey added, who lives in the same apartment building where the murder happened.

10News spoke with friends and relatives of the twins, who said Christina Moore and Bridgett Stagnolia were "fun loving." They declined to comment further.
