Despite being shot in the chest with a crossbow, a meteorologist from a TV station in the tri-cities is thanking viewers for support and says he's working with police.
WJHL Meteorologist Rob Williams is in the hospital, but in a statement says he expects to be back on air soon.
Williams was shot Monday morning at his home along Boone Lake.
Police say Williams filed a restraining order against the suspect, Gerald Taylor, last month.
Taylor is charged with attempted first degree murder. Investigators found him hiding around a lake dock just behind the house.
Both men list the address as their home.
