The Knoxville Fire Department says they are investigating a fire that broke at a building still under construction on UT's campus.
Dispatchers received a call around 9:30 p.m. from a witness who reported seeing flames on the roof of a building on the corner of Volunteer Blvd. and Pat Head Summitt St.
Crews responding found a wheelbarrow containing hot tar engulfed in flames. The fire had caught a temporary wooden rail on fire.
Firefighters were able to quickly get the fire under control. They say it appears to be accidental. No injuries were reported.
