An arraignment for Knox County Commissioner Jeff Ownby was reset Tuesday morning.
The hearing is now scheduled for July 11. Sessions Court Judge Tony W. Stansberry also recused himself from the case.
Ownby was arrested in May on an indecent exposure charge at the Sharp's Ridge park in North Knoxville.
Ownby's attorney, Greg Isaacs, has said Ownby will enter a "not guilty" plea.
The arrest happened while Knoxville police officers were conducting undercover surveillance in the area in response to citizen complaints about illegal activity.
Ownby, 45, was arrested along with John McCracken, 53.
McCracken was charged with indecent exposure and criminal trespass.
According to the warrant, Ownby "was observed with another male engaging in oral sex with one another."
Ownby is serving his first term as commissioner of the Fourth District.
