A Knoxville man charged in connection with a string of CVS pharmacy robberies now faces more than a century behind bars.

Monday, a U.S. district court judge sentenced 24-year-old Daniel Gibson to 121 years in prison.

Authorities arrested Gibson back in December of 2010. A judge sentenced him for his involvement in five pharmacy robberies from September to December 2010.

In each of the robberies, Gibson jumped over the counter and threatened the pharmacist at gunpoint.
