As the temperatures warm up, the Salvation Army is asking for the public's help to keep people hydrated.
Wednesday, the Salvation Army and Kroger are sponsoring a bottled water drive. The charity is trying to get a jump start on its need for bottled water.
"Right now, we're kind of getting ahead of things. We found that it's better to be proactive rather than reactive. This water is also used in any disaster circumstances that might arrive," said Rob Link.
You can drop off bottled water from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Kroger at 9161 Middlebrook Pike or the Kroger at 4918 Kingston Pike.
