More details of a crossbow shooting of a tri-cities meteorologist came out in court Tuesday.

WJHL's meteorologist Rob Williams spoke about the events that took place that early morning.

He said that he believed suspect Gerald Taylor entered through a bedroom window. After a long struggle, and the crossbow shot to the chest, Williams was able to break free to safety.

He had taken out an Order of Protection that had been served a few days earlier because of a threat that Williams says Taylor made threatening to kill him.

Williams was able to get help and has no prolonged injuries.

Taylor is charged with attempted murder.
