Lady Vols Head Coach Holly Warlick helped Oak Ridge National Lab kick off its annual United Way campaign Thursday.
This is one of her first big community events as head coach.
For the past two weeks, ORNL had a free-throw shooting contest to fundraise for United Way. Thursday, Warlick offered some of her expertise, and coached the free-throw finalists.
She also spoke about the positive impact United Way can have on the Knoxville community.
"I always said that at some point we all need help in some way. I think United Way comes out, they understand Knoxville, this community, they understand the needs. It's up to us to give and make sure that we continue to give to help people that need help," said Warlick.
