A local lawn and garden business marks a major milestone this weekend. Stanley's Greenhouses turns 75 on Saturday, and they're having a big celebration.
Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett has even declared it "Stanley's Day."
Everything in the store is on sale, from gardening supplies to live plants.
Plus, the store is offering tours of the historic grounds that have been in the family for generations.
"Stanley's Greenhouses has farmed upon this land for over 200 years. Actually, the Davenport family, Charles Stanley's mother was a Davenport, so we had Davenport Farm for 100 or so years before Stanley's started farming and producing the greenhouses," said Lisa Stanley.
The tours run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The store is open until 5 p.m.
