There will be a familiar face with the Tennessee Smokies for tonight's game with Birmingham.
Former Tennessee Vol Ty'Relle Harris was placed on the roster for this evening's game. The right handed pitcher played in four games with the Smokies this year before being called up to AAA Iowa.

The Tennessee Smokies, Class AA minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, announce today that RHP Ty'Relle Harris will join the team prior to tonight's game with the Birmingham Barons. There are no corresponding moves at this time.
The Smokies active roster sits at 25 players, which is the Southern League maximum.
Harris appeared in four games with the Smokies this season before being called up to Class AAA Iowa on June 8. While with Tennessee, Harris was 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA (2 ER/6.0 IP) with four strikeouts. He began the 2012 campaign with the Class A Daytona Cubs then was promoted to Tennessee on May 25. A member of the Tennessee Volunteer baseball team from 2008-2009, Harris was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 19th round of the 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft. He then was traded to the Cubs on August 8, 2010 as part of the Derrek Lee trade.
