The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash on Hwy 129 known as The Dragon.
It happened around 1 p.m. on Friday. Authorities say Harley Hogue, 53, of Florida was traveling north on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle near mile marker 8 when he lost control and ran off the road.
A report says he and the bike hit two trees before going over a 50 foot embankment. Hogue died in that crash. Officials say he was wearing a helmet.
The crash remains under investigation.
