A motorcycle driver suffered life-threatening injuries Saturday evening after a crash in West Knox County.
The crash happened around 8:20 p.m. on Lovell Road just south of Snyder Road.
According to a spokeswoman with the Knox County Sheriff's Office, a woman driving a Toyota 4Runner pulled out of a church parking lot and turned left in front of a motorcycle.
The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the vehicle.
The sheriff's office spokeswoman says the motorcycle driver was speeding and adds that alcohol was a contributing factor to the crash as well.
Lifestar flew the man to UT Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He was listed in critical condition Saturday morning.
Rural/Metro transported the driver of the 4Runner to UT Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
No charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
