Managers of a Downtown Knoxville gym are working hard to get the facility back to 100 percent after suffering serious water damage.

YMCA workers came to work in late May and found the building flooded. Officials say a chunk of the ceiling on the third floor collapsed and ruptured a sprinkler system line.

Insurance adjusters say moisture and the age of the ceiling are to blame.

Right now, the fourth floor attic space remains closed, and the group exercise gym is closed until the floor can be replaced.

The basketball court has reopened, but part of it is considered "play at your own risk" due to some warped planks.

Managers say if the floor doesn't return to normal soon, that section will be replaced.
