A Knoxville man pleaded guilty Wednesday to attempting to entice a child to engage in sexual activity.

The investigation against 58-year-old Raymond Boden started in May 2011.

An undercover KPD investigator found a Craigslist post put up by Boden saying that he was searching for a mother and daughter to engage in sexual activity with him.

The undercover officer responded, pretending to be the adult mother of a 12-year-old child. They set up a time to meet at a hotel the next month.

When Boden arrived at the room, the officer identified him and took him into custody. When he was arrested, Boden had a gift for the child with him.

He faces a minimum of 10 years in prison with supervised release and fines. His sentencing hearing is set for October 17.
