A local woman can afford a potentially life-saving trip to Texas, thanks to frozen yogurt.
Sarah Davis needs $25,000 for costly cancer treatments.
On June 13, area Froyoz stores collected donations for Sarah. They also donated 15 percent of their sales that day.
The fundraising efforts met the $25,000 goal, and Thursday, Froyoz presented Sarah with a check.
"It has been absolutely phenomenal. I never thought in a thousand years that any company, any local company or national company, would do something like this for me," she said.
The money was raised thanks to donations from the community at Froyoz, as well as Sarah's personal fundraising team, and National Fitness Center.
