A homeowner says he's lucky no one was hurt after a truck crashed through his living room at his home in Seymour Monday evening.
The homeowner, David Tower, says he had just returned home from shopping and was stepping outside to grab bags out of his car, when the truck crashed into his house.
He says there was nobody inside the truck, which had been in a neighbor's driveway across the street.
Tower says the truck just rolled backwards, crossed the street, and slammed into his house. He says it was a scary incident, but he's grateful everyone is okay.
"It's halfway in the living room and it knocked the couch over and busted the TV, the entertainment center, knocked all the bricks out of the wall. We're lucky, very blessed," said Tower.
We don't know the cost of damages to the home, and there's no word whether charges will be filed.
