A spokesperson for the Monroe County Sheriff says a Vonore man and a Calhoun man are behind bars charged in the death of an 18-year-old Sweetwater man whose body was found in Cherokee National Forest.
In a press release, the spokesperson says Justin Click, 18, was found deceased in Bald River Falls in the Cherokee National Forest.
TBI says the three men were swimming and drinking in a remote area of the park when Click was shot.
After an investigation, several agencies including the Monroe County Sheriff's Office and the TBI identified two suspects in the death.
Officials served warrants for the arrest of Charles Allen Kile, 51, of Vonore and Stephen Labron Chrisman, Jr., 31, of Calhoun early Wednesday morning.
Kile and Chrisman Jr. have been charged with first degree murder.
No bond has been set at the time of this posting.
