A south Knoxville man is facing charges in connection with a string of armed robberies.
Sammy Guy Carpenter, Jr., 35, is charged with aggravated robbery and violation of probation.
Carpenter is accused of robbing a Dollar Tree store on Chapman Highway last Friday night.
According to court documents, the suspect pointed a gun at a store employee and grabbed about $75 dollars in cash from the register.
Police are investigating whether Carpenter has any connection to two similar robberies that also happened in south Knoxville.
A Dollar General store on Chapman Highway was robbed Saturday night, and another Dollar Tree store on Chapman was robbed Monday morning.
No one was injured in any of the robberies.
