Knoxville's Davis Tarwater led early, but fell off the pace in the final 50 meters and finished fourth in the 200 meter butterfly finals at the US Olympic Trials.

For the second night, Tarwater sprinted to an early lead in the event, only to be passed up as he tired.  Michael Phelps won the event in a time of 1:53.65, well ahead of second-place Tyler Clary at 1:55.12.  Those two make the US Olympic Team.

Phelps passed Tarwater before the last turn, while Clary and Bobby Bollier passed him down the stretch.
