The Supreme Court ruling may have gone President Obama's way, but Mitt Romney is doing his best to capitalize.
ANALYSIS: Obama victory but what about election?
Campaign
spokeswoman Andrea Saul posted on Twitter this morning that Romney has
raised $4.2 million through the Internet since the high court upheld
Obama's health care law. She tweeted that represents more than 42,000
donations.
Romney said Thursday that defeating Obama in November would be the way to repeal the law.
The
president's campaign team and the Democratic Congressional Campaign
Committee are also trying to raise money off the court's ruling by
highlighting the importance of the election.
"Let's win the damn
election," says Obama campaign manager Jim Messina, in an e-mail pitch
that hit inboxes last night. Team Obama is asking for a donation of $3
or more to help defeat Romney.
