Alcoa Highway Lane Closure [July 2] - KUB will close the southbound curbside lane of traffic on Alcoa Highway between the Buck Karnes Bridge and Woodson Drive from 9
a.m.-3 p.m. on Monday, July 2, as work is completed on the natural gas distribution system in this area. One southbound lane and both northbound lanes will remain open
on this section of Alcoa Highway while this work is completed.
Market Street Lane Closure [July 2] - KUB will close the southbound lane (west side) on a section of Market Street between Clinch Avenue and W. Church Avenue from 7:30
a.m. -3 p.m. on Monday, July 2, as work is completed on the natural gas distribution system. One lane will remain open on this section of Market Street while this work is
completed.
S. Central Street Lane Closure [July 2] - KUB will close the southbound curbside lane of traffic on S. Central Street between W. Summit Hill Drive and Commerce Avenue from
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Monday, July 2, as work is completed on the natural gas distribution system in this area. One southbound lane and both northbound lanes will remain open
on this section of S. Central Street while this work is completed.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas.
Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use extreme caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
