Missing teen found safe

The Hamblen County Sheriff's office says a missing teen has been found. 15-year-old Kyle Henson returned home late Saturday evening, according to dispatchers.

Officials say Henson ran away that morning, noting that he has the mental capacity of a 9-year-old. That's when the TBI put out an endangered child alert.

Authorities say he is now safe at home since returning.

The Hamblen County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a missing teen it says ran away.

15-year-old Kyle Henson was last seen in Morristown at 11:30 Saturday morning.

He was wearing a purple and white tie-dye T-shirt and black shorts.

The Sheriff's Office says Kyle has the mental capacity of a 9-year-old.
