Sunday, members at Sevier Heights Baptist Church honored veterans from all branches of service.

One Marine in particular got a special warm welcome.

The congregation presented colors for all the branches of services today.

This  is the church's 19th year of holding a worship service with the Honor Guard.

They say it's a great way to show our appreciation for Veterans.

"People that are serving in the military now are getting the respect and honor they truly deserve because they're putting their life on the line in defense of the nation," said congregation member Dan Sherrod. "And it's the greatest nation on Earth."

The church also held a salute to the armed forces which included a troop from every branch of the military.
