Buddy's BBQ is now offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the theft of their smoker.

Just before one of the busiest barbecue holidays of the year, someone made off with a smoker/grill trailer from a Bearden restaurant.
According to Knoxville Police, the theft occurred around 4:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Buddy's BBQ at 5806 Kingston Pike.
The suspect vehicle was described as a green Jeep with a tan soft-top roof.
The driver was in his early 20s, tall, with a slim build and balding hair.
