Thursday's storms forced a Blount County business to temporarily turn off its lights.

The Parkway Drive-In is temporarily closed because of damage it sustained during the storms. Winds tore off the roof of the concession stand, allowing rain into the building.

Doug Freeman, the drive-in's owner, says he will try to get everything cleaned up as soon as possible.

"We're hoping we won't be down for more than two weeks," said Freeman. "I hope to be back by the 20th. That's my goal. Of course, if I get a good contractor, someone might surprise me and have me open by next week."

Freeman says it could cost up to $12,000 to fix.
