If you're trying to beat the heat this afternoon... and maybe take your mother to see a nice movie, this probably wasn't the movie to take her to.

The mother of all movies about mommy-related issues, "Psycho," was playing at the Tennessee Theatre Sunday afternoon.

The Alfred Hitchcock Classic scared audiences when it first came out 52 years ago.

Sunday it scared audiences as part of the Tennessee Theatre's "Summer Movie Magic Series."

The summer movie magic continues next week with "Doctor Zhivago."

The theatre will feature "The Third Man" and "Casablanca" later this summer.
