A woman has escaped from the Hamblen County jail for the second time.
The Hamblen County Sheriff's Department said Ashley Watson walked out of jail around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Watson was in the process of posting bond for a misdemeanor charge when she walked out of the gates with some visitors, authorities said.
Deputies are now searching for her as an escapee.
This is the second time Watson has escaped from jail. She walked out of jail in a similar way about two years ago.
Authorities said they made some personnel adjustments to try to prevent something like that from happening again.
