A man once accused of attacking a Knox County man with a chainsaw is behind bars again.
Brandon Petrey was arrested Wednesday morning in Williamsburg, Kentucky. He is accused of breaking into a home on Neil Woods drive on Sunday while a girl was inside.
According to court documents, the girl called her father, who rushed home to protect his daughter. The man told police he encountered the suspect, who threatened him with a gun.
The man said he stepped aside and the suspect took off.
The man identified Petrey in a suspect photo line-up. Petrey will be charged with aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.
He was given probation for attacking a Knox County man with a chainsaw back in 2010.
Petrey's accused of violating that probation twice.
