Two suspected sex offenders are behind bars in Knox County.
According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office, two men were arrested on criminal warrants on Wednesday morning.
Mitchell McCarty, 20, was taken into custody at 6332 Ridgeview Road in Northeast Knox County. He is charged with rape of a child, aggravated sexual battery, and sexual activity involving a minor. Investigators believe McCarty molested two victims. He's being held on a $550,000.00 bond.
Noah Foust, 34, was arrested at 8504 Howell Lane in East Knox County. He is charged with rape of a child, incest, statutory rape by authority figure, and aggravated sexual battery with a total bond amount of $500,000.00. Foust has a criminal history that includes possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession/casual exchange, and aggravated assault.
