Shakespeare on the Square
Shakespeare On The Square annually features two of the magnificent plays of Williams Shakespeare from mid July to mid August. This season's plays are "As You Like It" and "Julius Caesar." Performances are free and start at 7pm (Donations are accepted)
"As You Like It" Dates:
July 12, 14, 20, 22, 26, 28, Aug. 3, 5, 9, 11
"Julius Caesar" Dates:
July 13, 15, 19, 21, 27, 29, Aug. 2, 4, 10, 12
A blanket or a lawn chair is all you need to view these performances.
New this year, Tennessee Stage Company will offer two matinee performances indoors. The matinees will take place in the air conditioned Square Room at 4 Market Square. Both shows begin at 2:00 p.m. and admission is $10.00 at the door.
