Family and friends welcomed home 9-year-old Luke Bibee in Sweetwater Thursday.
Bibee returned from California where he competed against more than 25 other gymnasts in the Junior Olympic National Competition.
He earned a gold medal in tumbling and two bronze medals in double mini and trampoline.
Luke is happy he won, but he says he had a little extra motivation to help him bring home the gold.
"I had to win gold to get a pig, and that was one of my goals. So I tried to achieve it and I did," he said.
Luke has always wanted a teacup pig, so his parents promised to buy him one if he won a gold medal.
Sweetwater Mayor Lowe was also at the homecoming. He declared Thursday "Luke Bibee Day."
