Part of the "Sunny Side Early Country Trail" winds through Bristol, Tennessee. Home to the birthplace of country, a street with two states, and NASCAR's "Fastest Half-Mile", Bristol is loaded with tourist stops.
The fine folks at Bristol Motor Speedway had just completed track renovations, when permission was granted to try out a few "hot laps". These laps are sure to add entertainment to the night race this fall (click here for more information).
After driving fast and turning left, food was the next highlight on the Sunny Side Trail. There was no question, the "Hawg-n-Dawg" over in Erwin, would be the lunch-time stop.
