TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Police say multiple people were wounded when a gunman opened fire at a bar in Tuscaloosa, home to the University of Alabama.
City police Sgt. Brent Blankley tells The Associated Press that "multiple people were shot" at the Copper Top bar around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Blankley said no arrests had been made as of 7 a.m., but police have surveillance video of a suspect in the shootings.
Black-and-white video released by police show a man from the back as he walks down a sidewalk with what appears to be a gun in one hand. Police describe him as the suspect in the shootings.
Police were still processing the scene Tuesday morning and declined to release more details until a news conference.
