A Walland man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Thursday night on Laws Chapel Road.
The Blount County Sheriff's Office says Terry C. Branton, 42, was pronounced dead at Blount Memorial Hospital following the accident. The driver of the other vehicle, Susan J. Rutherford, was also transported to the hospital.
It happened shortly after 9 p.m. when officers say Branton's car crossed the center line.
Branton was not wearing a seatbelt, but Rutherford was. Airbags in both vehicles did deploy.
The accident is currently being investigated.
